About Us

OxiVeda Foundation is a dedicated environmental conservation organization driven by the belief that:
“Where there is nature, there is life; where there are trees, there is breath.”

Oxiveda Foundation

The name reflects the idea that just as the Vedas hold the eternal wisdom of life, greenery and trees carry the life-giving essence of oxygen, connecting us to nature and guiding us toward a balanced and meaningful life.

Mission

At OxiVeda, our mission is rooted in the belief that nature is not a resource, it is our responsibility. Inspired by the timeless wisdom of the Vedas and driven by the urgent need for ecological balance, we aim to create a greener, cleaner, and more conscious Bharat.

Vision

OxiVeda Foundation envisions “Green India, Healthy India” by promoting environmental awareness and taking strong action for ecological balance. As part of our Vision 2026, we commit to an ambitious goal:
🌳 Planting 1,00,000 trees every year
to restore green cover, enhance biodiversity, and support climate resilience.

Eco-Friendly, Plastic-Free Living

OxiVeda Foundation is a dedicated environmental conservation organization driven by the belief that:
“Where there is nature, there is life; where there are trees, there is breath.”

The organization aims to inspire people to plant trees and cultivate a sense of responsibility and sensitivity towards nature. OxiVeda believes that if every individual plants and nurtures even a single tree, we can create a cleaner, greener, and more balanced environment for future generations.

Teachings from the Bhagavad Gita on Environmental Protection

The Bhagavad Gita is not merely a spiritual text; it is also a guide to living in harmony with nature. Its verses emphasize the essential balance between life and the natural world.

Shloka (Chapter 3, Verse 12)

“Ishtan bhogan hi vo deva dasyante yajna-bhavitah,
Tair dattan apradayaibhyo yo bhunkte stena eva sah.”

Meaning

All living beings exist because of food; food is produced by rain; rain is a result of sacrifice (yajna), and yajna arises from action (karma).

Message

This verse beautifully illustrates the interdependence between nature, rain, food, and human action. Tree planting is a form of yajna – a sacred act that nurtures the environment and sustains life.

Shloka (Chapter 3, Verse 14)

“Annad bhavanti bhutani parjanyad anna-sambhavah,
Yajnad bhavati parjanyo yajnah karma-samudbhavah.”

Meaning

The gods, pleased by sacrifice, grant us the necessities of life. One who enjoys these without giving back is considered a thief.

Message

Taking from nature without giving anything in return is unjust. Planting trees, conserving water, and protecting the air are our moral duties – acts of gratitude towards nature

1) Promote greenery through mass tree plantations
2) Spread environmental awareness among communities
3) Encourage youth, students, and citizens to actively participate in conservation
4) Campaign for plastic-free, eco-friendly lifestyles
